How was the turnout this time around? Sorry I missed the post. I haven't been on Rennlist in a while...

Hey Everyone! Onspeed and I are going to take a whack at pulling my stock turbo and replacing it with my Vitesse Stage 2 next Friday/Saturday. It'll be my first time up on my MaxJax lift, which will hopefully make getting to the stuff underneath a little easier.

Would love to meet some new folks and get a hand if anyone's available...especially if you've pulled a turbo before. Pizza/beer/whiskey/cuban stoges and whatever else I have is on me!

Seriously, would love to meet some folks - got plenty of room out where I live if anyone wants to meet up and hang out for a while. I'm in southwest Austin - 290 area right before you hit dripping springs.

I had the only 944 in the group. Everyone else had an early 911, which was still way cool. My little 912 can't keep up with that crowd but the S2 can and then some. We unfortunately lost one 912er. The drive was a blast through the Hill Country. Jamie Novak knows the roads. I'll keep this group posted on any future drives. Most drives have included a mix of Alfas, other Porsches, and even a muscle car thrown in with the core early 911/912 mix.

Tyler, it was nice meeting you last month.

The Pints of March

This is short notice but I just got the e-mail last night. Meet in Austin for a run to Shiner this Saturday the 19th. This is a loose group of 911/912/anything-and-anybody-is-welcome car enthusiasts. I'll be in my S2 for this run. Hopefully some other 944s can make it as well. See the posting below. It's helpful to have a family channel radio too. The route map URL didn't work on my e-mail but might if you surgically implant into your browser. Tourmeister is Jamie Novak.

Scott

Wait no more.

Let's meet at El Chilito for breakfast tacos and coffee. Meet time is 8am. We will enjoy breakfast and then get on the road by 8:45. the address is:

2219 MANOR DRIVE
Austin, Tejas 78722
Tel. 512.382.3797

After fueling our bellies we will head East before turning South. Here is my proposed route.

Is anyone else going? I may join in if time prevails.
