Post name of this part

My '83 944 NA has a switch or plug that sits just in front of the reference sensors where 2 vacuum lines go into the plug itself. Because of heat/age the lines have broken. Anyone know the name of this part? Or better yet the part # ? It is removable with a 15 mm socket and has the word "carb" written beneath one of the 2 holes (where vaccum line were). thanks again!

Sounds like the "thermo valve," PN 058.131.851.A. Apparently, it tells the evaporative emissions control system when the engine is warm enough to purge the charcoal canister.

Ok, so the part goes by a couple of different names:

Thermo vacuum valve
or
thermo time switch

Any place besides over-priced Automobile Atlanta?
