lol calm down, i just inspected and didnt see any signs of rub. i may have just been hearing my front tires rub (they have been doing that since i got new tires).
and im sorry when i said that side returned to normal height, it just wasnt down like it was at first. i didnt measure anything yet, just by looking it appears normal.

just curious, if the shock went bad, wouldn't that cause the car to drop more while hitting bumps and turning with the weight on that side?

other than that i was unable to do anything today (couldnt get the drive way)

one more thing, how could i make sure that both the eccentric adjustments are set the same?
tomorrow i will make sure both tire pressures are the same, and measure the height from the rear corner of the rocker panel. if this doesnt yeild the same results for each side then ill check the eccentrics.

ok, tires on the ground, each rocker is 6 1/2 inches from the ground.

im not sure who suggested what so...
i jacked the car up and put it on stands, unbolted the swaybar from the drop link and tried to move the suspension around. i couldnt get it to budge at all, im not a very big guy in the first place. and i made sure all the bolts were tight, they were.

then i tried to remove the shock, and i couldnt get the rear bolt to turn at all even with the jack handle on the end of the ratchet.

now what???

It could be that at extreme compression the rear shock hung up. It may have a kink in the rod that is outside the normal range.

what does that second sentence mean?

lol it seems normal. you get blue's car done yet? i wanna see it.

What I meant is, if the shock got compressed more than is normal in daily driving, the rod may have gotten jammed in the seal, either due to crap built up on the rod, or a bend or kink in the rod.
