Along the lines of wierd things on wheels. 2 years ago at the FedEx Cart races here in Houston a couple of the race cars had some kind of led setup in the rim/wheel. When cruising by the grandstand (approx 70 90 mph) it displayed a holographic image of sorts. All of them where ads for the respective race team. It was very similar to the clock at Sharper Image that displays the time in thin air...

The other one I saw was in NYC on a cab. These were ads on a hub cap that did NOT spin. They were weighted at the bottom, so when the cab rolled the ad stayed stationary. Did a double take on that..cab moving...wheels not moving??? They looked like the old things that they mounted on your tire to balance your wheels on the car

.02 worth.....

Even worse than neon windshield washer squirters!

I bet they're still lighter than Adrial's track wheels.

Back in 69, Dodge made a wheelcover for the Road Runner that stayed stationary.. on a bearing with a weight at the bottom. There was pic of Wile' Coyote's fav dinner on them. They didn't make many, and as you can guess they are $$$$$$$$$$$$ at swap meets. I think the bling bling specials would look better if they weren't two layers of chrome, it looks more like some crazy slicer or shaver on wheels. If you painted the inside layer black, and the outside chrome, it would look more like a normal wheel spinning sitting still. Not for me, but a startling effect none the less.

I dumped the 20's to Deni and put 24's on my car. Nothing like having a 1/2" band of rubber to keep your eyes open for potholes!

Also, I melted down the gold teeth and coated the spinner!

I'll save the bandana to stop the bleeding when someone inevitably sticks their hand into the moving spinner.
