Default How many of each color were produced?

Just curious if anyone has a resource to how many 944's were produced by color/year?

The only color production numbers I've seen have been for the 88 Turbo S models. That and pearl white cars. Haven't seen numbers for normal models.

Anyone here have the Ocean blue or 1 of the 2 Almond? It would be interesting to get the other years. Couldn't find anything in my books though including the Porsche Data Book.

Some website lists each year with each color production, I'll try to find it. And the only Ocean Blue car is for sale as far as I know, saw it in a thread a couple weeks ago.

Records seem to be pretty incomplete. I've heard of the North American office screwing up certificates of authenticity. They tried telling a guy here with a 930 that it had a Tiptronic.

I would be very surprised if you could find extensive data on production by color.

Actually a RLer and PPer just bought that Ocean Blue car.
I had an Ocean Blue 87, awesome color.

RacerBVD just bought the only 88 ocean blue car. He has pictures of it on 6speedonline.

Heres mine diamond blue metallic LM5U RARE 1 yr color for 1987 . As u can see in the second picture the car is a blue-purple color but looks silver in the sunlight.

1 Guards Red
2- Black
3- Alpine White
