How many of each color were produced?

My 1987 944 coupe
I have a yellow 1987 944 which I assumed was Summer Yellow. I looked up the color charts for 944's and the only yellow sold in 1987 was Lemon Yellow. So I wonder which color I have?

I didn't see this chart posted earlier in this thread, so I thought I'd share it.
If only it had the production numbers for each color / year. That'd be sweet.

It seems my color (Kalahari Beige) shouldn't be too common - it was a special only available in 85/86. A Google Image search only offers a handful of results...

It is originally called Lemon Yellow. The color's name was changed to Summer Yellow for the U.S. market to avoid any connection to a lemon car. In other markets it was probably called Lemon Yellow, or a translation.
Your paint sticker by the fusebox should say "Lemongelb," which translates to Lemon Yellow.
Your (according to your signature and avatar) Pastel Yellow 993 Targa must be rare. Was that a standard color?
Guessing you like yellow.....

That is pretty! Oddly enough I have a Sapphire Blue 1986 N/A that someone changed to Kalahari Beige at some point.

Saw a pie chart once. can't find now.
I saw a pie chart once and like you I don't have a bookmark for it. It showed the colors and production numbers for each. I've been searching for it lately. Will post a link if I do find it. I own an 88 Turbo 944 in (I think) Norsea Blue or maybe Nautical Blue, dark metallic blue. I looked it up on Automotivetouchup.com and they listed the Nautical Blue. I'll have to check my paint code to see if the name is accurate.
Once I found a site that had production numbers for all years and all colors. Was it accurate? I have no idea. But I forgot the address and I didn't bookmark it... I'd love to find it again.
My all-time favorite 944 color is Zermatt Silver. My '84 was this color originally, before it got ruined by the sun, birds, rocks, and a lady's front bumper.
I think the most common color is Guards Red (Indisch Rot), probably followed by gloss black.

Update on paint color and more pics
Update: I checked the paint code and it is Nautic Met. (translates to Ocean Blue from what I've found) code: ALD 645 Y5Z (also seen in charts as LY5Z). Anyway, my first Porsche was a NA 944 in Garnet Red with linen interior, I loved that car except, like Tim Allen, I needed MORE POWER! So I sold it to a friend who was a big 944 fan also, that I later saw driving a 944 S2 Cabriolet. I guess he needed more power as well. lol
