Default Picked up '83 944...What color is this?

Picked up a '83 944 last night, t-boned, but was in awesome shape beforehand. The color is one I have not seen before. It is like a light yellow, almost pastel-ish. I did some searching and came across a color pasedena yellow...is this a rare 944 color? Has anyone ever seen one? Wondering if I found a pretty rare car or not...
I'll try and post some pics when I get off work.

Thanks
Mike

I may try and save it, if the frame is not bent. Would need some major body work...

If the thing is beyond repair, I'm going to part it...it's sick because the thing was so nice before the accident.

Mine is Pastel Beige. It was for '85 & '86. It's an almond color but looks like a light yellow sometime.
As for '83 they had Pasedena Yellow.
Summer Yellow was offered for '87 models

I parted a light yellow car. Was not summer yellow, it was, as you say, a pastel-ish color. I don't remeber what the color code was anymore but it was pretty uncommon. I'm pretty sure it was Pasadena Yellow.

I've seen a few, they fade to a nice beige/tan.

Seen pasadena yellow before.. reminds me of beige. While the color may be "rare", more importantly is the condition of the car painted in the color. An '83 944 is not really a rare car and any car can be repainted. How bad was/is the T-Bone?

I do have to say...and its not meant as insult to M951, that is an incredibly fugly color for a 944. I had never seen it before....but what a strange choice for a sports car. It's like a color for a 70's Oldsmobile or something...I have always liked the color choices Porsche made but that is bizarre (to me) given the millions of options it could have been.

I have seen this color on a older 911 and liked it. I think if it had a color match rim or something less dark it would look better. Along with removing the stripes. Thats my opinion, and this is from someone that drives around with a big black mask on the front of his car. THAT'S HOW I ROLL!!!

I'd rather have some odd color that the many of thousands of "Gaurds Red" It's a beatiful color however it's on every other 944 you see.

No hate mail please.
