This is a bummer..
Been working on the paint on a black 944. This is after a repaint, light sanding and quick buff to get an idea of how it is going to look.

Get a bit closer. Nice reflection!
Get closer. WTF!!! Solvent pops. All those little white dots, not the just the dust on your screen.
Tried sanding them out, but got into the primer underneath. Just reshot the car yesterday, we will see how it turns out this time.
Worst part of the prep is sanding off your fingerprints.
