If you havent figured it out yet, the 2 pin connector that you asked about is the starter exciter wire and alternator exciter wire. The other connector that ran across the fire wall with the supplimental power wires was as you guessed the cruise wire... Looking good... Really Good.

the red and blue goes to the starter? that makes sense i guess. it plugs into the little spliced out part of the main power cable that runs down there right? ill have to take a look at the cable and see if the plug for that connector is on it
