DTC60 are going to overpower a small tire, the HT10 worked pretty well when I was running the wilwoods. Plus, the HT10 is a much better pad than the blue.
thanks for the info

what was the reason for selling them?

Not well, you have to remember, a 968 upgrade includes much bigger rotors.

I'm not meaning to bash the wilwoods, they work well if you are using 15" wheels and were certainly better than the stock 924s calipers.

i figured they were not as good, i just wondered if you could give us some sort of way to quantify it.

i'm sure the wilwoods will stop my 2.5 well. if i ever get a 3.0 mill i can really give them a test.

Hey guys,

The complete caliper / adapter / hardware setup is 7 lbs lighter per side than the stock NA calipers. 14 lbs of total unsprung weight savings.

The idea is to have good brakes when you need them without having to lug all the extra weight around the track when you don't. Did I mention that extra 14 lbs is unsprung weight?

What is the total weight on a turbo caliper plus the added weight from the larger rotor?

damn...not to add to the list of "wish I could...", but now's not the best time for me. How long will the group buy be open?

Separately, does anyone have the specs (rotor dimensions and piston dimensions) for 951 rear brakes offhand? The thought of combining Wilwoods with the 951 rear brembos intrigues me.

Thanks

i plan to keep it open till all 6 slots are full unless travis wants to do otherwise.

i am interested in the 951 rears as well. (though i will probably stay stock for quite a while)

We only need 5 for the group buy.

I would highly recommend leaving the rears stock at first and just doing some pad compound tuning back there. If you are still looking for more from the rear after some testing, then consider the 951 rears.

Id say you can tentatively include me, my friend owes me money so I just need to get that in my bank account or have him pay you or something.

2 questions:

-Would it be best to use cross-drilled rotors with these brakes?
-Do the pads have a place for the brake wear sensor? or is that just ditched?

Thanks,

ritzbltz: i will add you if you can confirm the funds will be avalible when the buy closes

from what ive read with race pads you will break drilled rotors. solid or slotted is the way to go.
