Default Heated seat relay

I assume one is needed for the seat heaters to work in my 951 with 964 heated power seats. Is this wrong?

Does anyone have one for sale or know where to get it? I tried searching pelican, paragon but can't seem to find anything.

I don't know the answer, but I have 8-way power, heated sport seats in my S2 that came from a 1986 951.
I have never tried the heat...so I am curious to know the answer !

There are relays in the seat (underneath) that probably came with your seats and you need to make sure there's a fuse in the fusebox (marked). That's it.

I just bought heated sport seats and they were plug and play. As noted above, there is a fuse in the panel but no relays.

Pelican has parts catalogs on their site. Look at the seat catalog.

No relays. Just a switch with a built in dial on the button panel to adjust the temperature. Nice to have in cabs!

As a rule, the porsche is generally parked in the winter so I have never had occasion to try the heat. They were 'plug and play' in so far as all the power adjustment featurers worked.....but I bought them to hold me in place on the track better than the stock non-sport seats...not so much for the heat.

take a look in the bottom of the seat, folks. There are relays for the seats that have a simple switch, and a "control unit" that looks just like a relay for the seats that have a dial.
