Default FS: S2 LSD Trans $1500

Factory LSD transaxle from 944 S2. Code on it reads AOT 02119. Mileage believed to be under 40k. Works great, just removed last week to contribute toward my LS-1 swap fund. $1500 OBO + shipping to continental US.

Of course this is a good tranny to use on an S2, but it is also a great mod for a 944 turbo... shortens the gearing on 1-4 about 15%, and keeps 5th gear about the same as turbo. Bolts right up without any other changes needed (torque tube, axles, speedo, reverse lights, and shift linkage all hook up identically to turbo tranny).

PM me, email alan_arkus @ y@h00 dot com, or call (513) 226-2183.

Yes, Dan's right, I'm going with a live rear axle. I'm tired of road courses, so I'm setting the car up for drag racing now. I'm also taking out the torsion bars and putting in leaf springs. It's gonna be a real clean son of a bitch!

Seriously, I'm just going to put a turbo LSD in it, or maybe a turbo S one if I can find one for a reasonable price. The gearing will still be a little short for the V8, but better.
