Agreed..! According to the TSB it is what needs to be done... Also the 968 Caster Block Bushings are the only ones you can get now for the 944 the part has been updated to these...

Cup Wheels or the Lobster Claws...

I think 15"s are just too 1980s...

17"s on up are the only way to go... Updating the car is the best option... And i know i know most guys say big wheel weigh too much and the rotating mass is too much blah blah blah if anything the newer larger wheels weigh less or if anything weigh the same as a phone dial...

Is the reason the cars feel slow / handle poorer with bigger wheels due to the size of the wheel, or just the weight?

so theoretically if I were able to get my hands on some 17 inch wheels (not rims) for my NA, which were as light ($), or lighter ($$$) than the stock phone dials, would it still not handle as well?

It would be better if they are lighter.

You will definitely feel that the car is slower with 17in, but no prep required, just get a good alignment afterward.

ive driven one 944na with with the 15" fuchs and one with 16" bss rs and the same with 18" turbo twists, the 15" fuchs handled and drove the best, but the 18" looked best
