944pete: i may have said dumb things in the past, but to say something culturally and socially ignorant and retain it in a sig is annoying. -> IMO <- There a lot of people who read these pages an they are all not from here (USA).

Deni: Lighten up. The line is just a joke. Having said that I don't believe it is "culturally and socially ignorant" IMO. France being on board or not in a war says nothing about their culture. It only says that they are not neccessary. People say things about the US and it really doesn't annoy me one way or the other. Since the line bothers you I'll remove it, but you really should develop a thicker skin and maybe a sense of humor.
BTW although I was born in the USA, my parents and the rest of my family were not.
