Post How long have you had your Porsche?

I was just wondering how long everyone has had their Porsche. I will have had mine 7 years in Oct. this year. Anyone still have their 944 since they purchased it new?

23 years. Two 924's from the late 70's to the early 80's. A two year "break". 1983 944 19 years.

In July 1988 I bought a new 924S. At the time
my comparable choices were an RX7 turbo, Supra
turbo, and BMW 325is. I decided I would rather
have an entry-level Porsche than a high end
Mazda or Toyota. And the BMW was strongly
associated with a late-1908's phenomenon known
as "yuppies." The kids here might read about
those someday.

Never regretted buying the Porsche, ever.

Shoot, just to even you all out - 5 months. And I've had it sold 3 times in that peroid too... I won't make it over 2 years (cause I'm moving to no-car land for several years).

I bought it in September of 1998. I think this is the longest I've ever owned a car.
