Okay to drive with 4 out of 5 lugs?
My brother (teklord) was doing some work on his car ('00 eclipse GT)...and while losening one of the lugs by hand, the stud snapped off...
Is it OK to drive long distances (100 miles each way) like this? (as in safe and not damaging anything)??
I think its OK, but I'd like to be sure.
TIA,
Adrial

The studes are cheap and I had a friend do the same thing exept he was on 3 studs (4 stud patern of his VW) and it was ok for a week of normal highway and town use. So with 4 I am guessing you will be ok. I am going to suggest you use anti-seze on your lugnuts from now on out.

I wouldn't do it, but i'd sure hope they wouldn't let you AutoX with missing lugs.
