I have a dream...
Last night I had a dream that I sold my 89 944 na, and immediately saw a white 91 944 S2 Cabrio. It's not like I crave this car, so I have no idea why I dreamed about it, but I did. In my dream I thrashed it through the back roads, and it performed as though it was brand new.
It was really weird because I woke up about ready to go look in the garage to see if Argento was still there.
To make this relevant, my battery died when I was putting in (and taking back out) my headlights... What is the best battery to use. I live in NC and it's starting to get chilly.
Thanks,
Matt

Matt,
I've got a Diehard international in the 951. I don't have the specifics on CCA or model #, but when I went to the counter at Sears, gave them the car info, he gave me the battery and it fit and works fine(I haven't gone wrong with Diehard in 14 years). I hope this vague information helps.

I like the Interstate Batteries. They are the exact dimensions as the factory blacktops and also have a vent hole. The size makes it easier to remove/install the battery. They also have a 72 mo warranty.

Get the biggest battery with the best cold start capacity that fits in the tray.
Don't worry about the generator capacity killing it or vice versa: it wont.
My daily driver is an VW Passat with a battery from an Audi 100 TDI(the big fat 5 cylinder): about 40% more than the original capacity and no problems for the next 5 years.
