Default Electric 944 sighted in Cincinnati

Yesterday a white 944 with Ohio plates drove by my neighborhood- the back end was low (as if there were a bunch of batteries weighing it down), and the car had decals all over it saying "electric vehicle" and "experimental."

Looked like a home-brew project, just wondered if anyone had any background on it.

I still think this would be a neat project.

yea I was tempted by electrification. but the battery longevity especially with chicago winters was a big concern.

besides, biodiesel is much better option if u think green.

I'd rather have a hydrogen or a biodiesel 944.

I found that on Google, but that's not the one I saw. This one was white, and in very good condition.

Hence the reason my subject said "Not the same one, but..."

I guess I don't read above the line. I have never even noticed that a subject on a reply can be different than the subject of the post...............

Default Don't worry about it

I should have been more clear in my message...no problem.

The link I sent you was for J. Straubel. He is now working with Tesla Motors.

If you want to see an awesome electric car check this out:
