Default Good Asking Price for a NICE Set of Phone dials??

Hey Guys,

New to the Porsche Community! I've run into a few issues after JUST purchasing an 84' 944 and the guys over at pelican parts and 944 online have been EXTREMELY helpful. I just learned about Rennlist today!! I am all the way down to my clutch housing. The PO of the car gave me the original set of cookie cutters on the side as he has upgraded to phone dials.

I am going to sell the set of phone dials to help cover the cost of my clutch parts. I'm not sure of the size or offset, but I was hoping that one of you Porsche gurus would be able to make an educated guess by the year of the car that they are on. Like I said 1984. They are in great condition, (Shiny, no scratches, dents, curb rash) and all 4 have the center caps.

What is a good asking price for a CLEAN set of 4 Porsche phone dial rims that fit on early model 944s with center caps??

If they are 16's, probably $450 or so if you aren't in a rush. If they are 15's, half that, maybe. Not so sure on the early offsets, mine were late offset. Of course, the buyer backed out on me.......

Early offset 16x8 for a set of four would be 400 maybe in really good condition.

I bet these are 15x7s in which case they aren't worth much - maybe $100 at most? The turbos came with 16x8 and 16x7 and those are the sets that usually pull around $400.

Here is a link to a set on ebay for $10 starting bid no reserve....

Dang. I am going to check out the dimensions tomorrow morning. I have the set of phone dials and the set of original cookie cutters which are in decent shape too...just need a little cleaning up. Which ones will I pull more money from? Right now I'm more worried about the new clutch kit in my car than which wheels are on it...lol!

if they are nice i'd say around 250ish, i just payed 120 for a set of late offset 15x6's and i felt like i got a decent deal on them even though they needed to be blasted and painted. You would not believe how many people want 3-400 for crappy dials.
