Post Exhaust pipe size and twin tips

Two questions:

1. What size is the exhaust piping on these cars? Is it any different on N/A, S2, and Turbo models? Are they all 2.25" or 2.5"?

2. Has anyone ever put on twin exhaust tips on their 944? I've only ever seen a single oval tip (i.e. OEM), and was just curious what a twin tip exhaust would look like.

Bumpety, bump...

Since there were no replies, I guess no one knows the pipe diameter... and no one has twin tips on their car...

And with the S2 being an N/A, can I then assume that it also is 2.25?

Thanks.

Don't know the stock exhaust size on your S2...my 951 was 2.5", and I upgraded the cat back section to 3.0", mandrel bent, stainless. Regarding the dual tip question...I have seen a couple 944's with these (FTY from pelican used to have one, and a girl who was selling her 951 in salisbury had one...I have pictures of that one), but IMHO, its pretty butt and doesn't fit the car. Save the DTM tips for the VW's and audi's...thats what they look good on. Here are a couple of pictures:

Leave the fart pipes for the ricers.

Someone else on here had pics of a dual tip exhaust that was much classier looking than the one ribs posted tho...maybe he's reading this?

Matt Olde has good looking dual tips on his '89. Someone also posted pics of their 944 w/ the monza dual tips that didn't look bad IMHO - I believe it was Mr. Z.
