I stand corrected!

Logan--you are right--your car looks much more modern with those twists, even with the un-covered bumpers!

Tarheel,

These look good on our cars. I obtained a used set of these wheels last week from a guy here in the Bay Area. Wheels are mint except for a few scratches on one of the fronts. Paint is glossy and clearcoat is flawless They had 15k on them before they were removed. Came with Pirelli P-Zeros 205/45 Z-17 front, 255/40 Z-17 rear. There is no rubbing, no spacers were requires and they fit perfect. Came off a '99 Boxster, 7" wide fronts 55mm offset and 8.5" wide rears 50mm offset. 996 Part numbers are on the rear of the spokes. Price was $700. I recently refinished my phone dials and my old centercaps fit perfectly, color match with the Wurth paint is pretty much exact. Really updates my 951 and they weigh less than my phone dials.

Logan5,

I took pics with my SLR camera, unfortunately I don't have a digital camera yet. Once I get the pics developed I will try to post them here if I can get them scanned. My car looks virtually identical to Dave 120's, except mine is a turbo and has no tint.

After what I read on this board about the original (concave) center caps not clearing the bearing dust caps I was surprised to learn that my old caps fit perfectly.
