Post 951 piston dimensions and 3 L engine

we want to build a 3 L engine out of a 2.5 L 951 with a 3 L crank and
a 3 L piston.

My friend messured his 951 pistons from the top to the lower side of
the pin and found out they are ONLY 52 mm!!
Porsche say they should be 62 mm for the 951 and 52 for the S2.
Anybody mesured his 944 or 951 or S2 Pistons and can tell me the
results?

The problem is we need a piston that is 10 mm lower (has the pin 100 mm
higher instaled) because we want to install a 3 L crank with 9 mm more
stroke. The piston we got is 52 mm but his stock piston is 52 mm
too:-(((

BUT If we install a 3 L Crank the stock piston will move 10 mm
higher and will hit the valves.
The factory say that the pistons from the 3 L engine are 10 mm
shorter (on the PIN) than the stock 951
pistons. 52 mm VS 62 mm
I do not see how your rod-piston will work with a 3 Liter Crank.

his car has stock 951 crank, stock rods BUT the pistons are 52 mm
instead 62 mm
here the infos from teh Porsche tech book
can some one confirm that this data are right?
I never heard of a 951 piston with 52 mm.
