I picked up a pair of adapters off ebay for ~120 IIRC.

I don't have any other pics as of yet. I didn't follow through completely getting the front hubs done.

At this point I can only put the rears on. After I get the engine all tuned in... that, and finishing the paint will be my next priority.

I don't think you could do it with a late offset. The spacer/adapters are ~2" thick. That would push the tire too far out.

I use a Greddy E01 boost controller and have done quite a bit of logging, With the Tial 40mm wastegate I can see 10PSI all the way to around 6500 RPM, I'm still trying to figure out the lowest RPM where I can get 10PSI.

When I first installed the Tial It had a 1 Bar spring, boost rose very very quickly, I'm sure I was seeing over 10 PSI under 2500 RPM. I have since installed a .6 Bar spring to get better boost control. I must say 13 PSI was awesome but my Safeguard lit up like a Christmas tree (knock), that kind of boost would require lots of boost retard. What PSI did you run with the SC?

18 psi was the max with the 2" pulley. I used E85 and had a methanol spray as well.

I am curious about the lowest point. Maybe soon, you could watch in 4th gear and see when you hit 5 psi on a gradual drive??

If you are getting 10 psi below 2500 rpm it must be a blast to drive. Personally other than the SC setup I have not had a great feeling driving around town with these cars.
However, I have been running big turbos too so that is probably why. I will say though that there is something to be said regarding the rush of 25 psi hitting hard, even if it is a little laggy .

Sid,
When you get it running I know where there's a ferrari owner waiting for his doors to be blown off by a 944 - again! His shop does good paint work on porsches.

friday is an open track day at high plains, i will probably take the M3 there.

Hey Sid,
Looks very similar to what im doing to my car. How did you end up mounting the 951 IC on the early car? I had to do a lot of cutting/grinding/welding, and at this point the stock header panel cant fit (IC sits to high).

I just moved to Denver (attending DU), I would love to stop by some time and take a look at that beast!

Cool build! Subscribed

Is there still a good group of 944/951 owners in CO? We use to get together from time to time when I lived in Boulder.
