Exclamation Whats my PROBLEM!

OK here is my story...

Today I go out to YMCA(played raquet ball, Its a cool game..)On my way back as I am getting home it starts raining extremely hard. I turn on my wipers to full and still can’t see anything, and to make things better there is a HUGE SUV right in front of me. I finally get around it...Being able to see again, I accelerate turning left on the light. The rear goes out a bit, onto second and right before I turn into my neighborhood I dive right into a puddle of water. I get to my house and the car is running a little rough I turn it off and it doesn’t start again. Water in the electrical system I think. So I go inside a few hours later the rain stops. I come outside and start the car, problem solved right? wrong... I go out of my neighborhood and get that wonderful feeling of how good the car is. I make a right on the light and it stops again. I wait a bit there pondering the advantages and disadvantages of leaving my car there by the road all alone and finally decide to run back home and get some help. I get my mom and her SUV and head back to my car to tow myself home. One last time I check the ignition coil wires and see that they are completely dry, and the car doesn’t start. SO I tow myself home and when I get there the car starts I let it run until it gets to temperature and it keeps working.

Hmmm...Any ideas?

I also have one more question. I am getting black smoke on hard acceleration. I have an autothority chip with the banjo bolt, is the smoke normal, due to richer mixture
?

Hydrolock? You might have grenaded a piston and have low compression in that cylinder...that being worst case scenario. My car will puff a little black smoke on gear shifts and under WOT at high revvs, and I have APE stage II chips...I have seen other 951's do the same, even without software. Hope your car is okay.

By hydrolock do you mean water got into the cylinder? I am sure that is not the case the engine runs fine now. But to make my story more interesting, I just went to test the car. I started driving around my neighboorhood and waited for the car to get up to temperature then I got on the road and drove for a bit going the opposite way to which my car stoped. I had to pick up the plastic piece that covers the spot where you screw in the tow hook on the 951 so as I approached the light i though what if the car stops on the same spot again? Well it did as i went to turn right it stoped. I tried to restart it without success and after I pushed the car onto the grass by the road, It starts again and I drive home happily Well sort of. Untill I find out what is doing this, Maybe its psicological! LOL

Everybody is going to suggest this and you are gonna wanna hit people after hearing this 800 times, but change your DME relay its good to have a spare..yadda yadda yadda...

What exactly does the car do?
It sounds similar to what my car was doing...which turned out to be the air flow meter. When your car doesn't want to start, disconnect the air flow meter (AFM) and see if it starts. If it does and idles very roughly, thats OK its supposed to with the AFM disconnected (and obviously indicates that your AFM needs some work...it can be repaired hopefully though because they are very big $$$ to replace). Let us know what you find.
