Thom, excellent photos & no doubt a memorable trip.

A book you might (or might not) enjoy.."Back To the Front." Don't recall the author's name, but he's a young Canadian living in France who eventually walks the entire length of the WWI Western Front trenches, from the sea across Belgium & France to Switzerland. His commentary on the battles, casulties, madness of war, and the present-day appearance of the battlefields & their monuments is quite fascinating.
