I'm probably going to paint my calipers when the time comes to redo all my brakes here soon. At first I was going to paint them the standard red. But I don't think it will look too good with the color of my car.

I haven't seen many, if any, 944's will yellow calipers with a dark paint scheme.

The official name of my color is Zyclam-Red Pearl Effect.

I painted my calipers yellow last summer. My car is Garnet Red Metallic. I hope this picture gives you some help. I think the yellow goes very well with red.

My car is guards red, and I can't decide what color to paint my calipers. Black, red or yellow. Anyone have an opinion?
BTW I think the yellow looks good on the garnet red

Other wise once you get two different colors of red it might look kind of goofy. So then yellow is always an option if you don't want the black.

I thought red would indeed look goofy with my garnet. I thought about gold--I got my PhD from Florida State, so the garnet and gold theme would have symbolism. But, I preferred the yellow. Silver or black might have their virtues, but they won't be very noticeable.

I'm generally a fan of keeping things stock and subtle, but I think the painted calipers are a tasteful way of adding some color. I think yellow would look good on Raceit's car.

Got my JD at FSU. I'm also interested in painting calipers with 993 wheels on a black car. What do you think the best color is for that?

I've got yellow calipers now on my Guards red. Looks good, but I've got no updated pictures.
