Whats the bottom price you would sell your 944 for???
In my 1990 S2's present condition. New dual friction clutch koni yellow adjustable, new belts rollers etc... Interior MINT, body near MINT, rims near mint, and sport seats which the previous owner added as an option. Have mostly all the records, bills, sales borchure, lease forms, even the sales mans business card that sold the car. I would not take less then $20,000 Canadian. These cars are going up in price, from what I have seen on forum sites. COME ON brag alittle about ur baby <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
PCA sent my forms to help me get my money back from insurance companies if ever stolen or wrecked. In its condition according to them it would be around $20k cnd. 13k in poor condition, 15k in med condition, 19-20k in great shape. I can scan the forms in if you guys wish to see them.

I have a 1988 S model that has recently had the top-end re-done due to a timing belt failure.
There is 135,000 Klms on it (around 75,000 miles I think). No dash cracks, no seat rips, exterior paint just needs rock chips fixed.
I paid $11,000 Canadian and would not sell it for under $12,000 Canadian.
What we all have to do right now is start listing 944's all over the place. Everyone list your car at a high price. The only reason these cars are so cheap is because we sell them cheap. Let's flood the market with higher priced 944's. Once people "think" the 944 is worth around $10,000 - then those $1000-$4000-$6000 944's will be thought of as having something wrong with them.
Everyone list your 944 right now. I'm going to list mine for $18,000. Heck, if we all do this, it may work. And even if you don't want to sell your 944, I know many of you would take a high price for it if you could get it.
When someone calls me and say's "I can get the same car for $9000" - I'm going to say, "Good luck with THAT car". We all know something WILL need to be fixed eventually on this car, so mine will look like the better deal after all is said and done. I don't want to really sell my car, so I can afford to keep my high price where it is.
Let's "fool" the car buying world and jack up the prices on these cars. We all know they are worth more than they sell for.

I am embarrased to add up the reciepts. In fact, I quit keeping them . . . .

I wish someone would make me an offer, someday. As soon as Spring arrives, I bet I change my mind.

Mine's an 88 N/A. Bought for $3500 with 220,000 miles. Excelent interior, added a Corbeau seat, blaupunkt speakers, and an Aiwa head unit. Exterior is good overall with one ding that needs repainting, some minor scrapes, and numerous rock chips. The chips and scraped can be done with touch up paind but the ding needs paint.
My bottom selling price, ~$6,000 US. I know it might be a little steep for the miles, but I just can't bear to let it go!

$7,500 for my 89 turbo with 80k miles that needs body work and misc work like ball joints, alignment, etc. The car runs like a bat out of hell....but u may see it on ebay soon....I am getting tired of moving 9 cars from one side of the street to the other every week for street cleaning. Also, after 6 years, she is looking for a ring.....biological clock is ticking and I figure the ring will probably cost me about that much.

Mom's 84 944 N/A Auto $4,500 Guards Red on Tan and Brown W/ Fuchs. New head gasket and belts 130K or so. As for my 944, I think it will be around for a while, it's a little project thing I have.

In the end the value is simply defined as the least a willing vendor will accept and the most that a willing buyer will pay given a reasonable time
