Default 968 Idler Pulley Upgrade

This is a piece we actually developed as part of our 968 Supercharger kit, and now it has spun off into its own product.

The Problem: Many 968 owners complain of belt slippage on their AC compressor and alternator. The solution (until now) has to been to over-tighten the belt tensioner to compensate, often cracking, bending or breaking the belt tensioner ends under the high loads.

The Solution: The 928 Motorsports LLC Idler Pulley Upgrade will increase the belt wrap on both the alternator and the air conditioner, so belt slippage is eliminated, and belt tension does not have to be adjusted as high as before. This saves the belt tensioner from breakage also.

More information on the product is available by following this link:

Hey that's good, I had to tighten my belt more than I thought was appropriate to get it to stop slipping. Thanks for making this. Now I have to decide if I should get the pulley or just save a few bucks by buying the whole supercharger system.
