Post tie rod ends

i need a trick tie rod end and the cheapest porsche price is $139 that i found. this is a 87-88 944 to manual steering rack. the porsche number is 944 347 033 03. autoatlanta has some aftermarket for about $95. they must be out there somewhere. any ideas anyone?

I might have complete brand new genuine Porsche tie rods for your application. I bought a pair of tie rods at Hershey a couple years ago, but they don't fit my car. I have a late offset ('88) 944 with power steering. These tie rods are late offset (longer length) but they have female sockets where they connect to the rack, instead of the male fittings. The power rack needs male fittings on the tie rods. Therefore, these must be late offset manual rack tie rods.

That part number looks familiar too.

I'll scare up some more info when I get home tonight.

i bought 2 tie rod ends from vertex in florida last year, i thought i paid like 60 bucks for both, i have to relook is that alot of money? it was for a 1986 944 turbo, they went on easy but now i wonder if i got the wrong version or not? anyone
