Here go the questions:
Why was the car disassembled?
Are all the parts & pieces there?
Does the engine run? (When buttoned back up)
How are the tires?
How about the belts, waterpump, & tensioner?
How is the suspension? (stock?,aftermarket?)
Other than recovering the seats, getting a new/used dash and a couple of trim pieces the interior looks ok. Am I right?
The body looks good in the pics but how is it up close?
I've been thinking about selling my car and buying an S2 but I'm not sure of the market for a 944NA right now. The only issues with mine are a power steering leak, AC & sunroof don't work, and will need clutch soon. New items are belts, waterpump, tires, motor mounts, heater valve, upholstery, clutch master & slave, and a bunch of other little things. If I sell it I'll probably put a clutch in first.
If you're serious about a deal e-mail me for my phone#.

I'll see if I can get some pics, until then all I've got is on my P-car online site. This is really nuts but I'm really considering this.
Here go the questions:
Why was the car disassembled?
---James wanted to turn it into a racecar - cam belt tensioner needed to be replaced
Are all the parts & pieces there?
---To the best of my knowledge after taking an inventory (Save maybe the winshield washer pump)
Does the engine run? (When buttoned back up)
---James claimed it does
How are the tires?
---Decent but car has been sitting since may in one spot
How about the belts, waterpump, & tensioner?
---new waterpump and belts, need to be adjusted before starting
How is the suspension? (stock?,aftermarket?)
---Don't know about the suspension
Other than recovering the seats, getting a new/used dash and a couple of trim pieces the interior looks ok. Am I right?
---need the armrest cover, and a new sunroof interior cover, also need the pieces that go inside between door frame and sunroof hole
The body looks good in the pics but how is it up close?
---Body is good, worst thing is small gash 2 inch long in drivers A pillar, paint definetly old - worst spot in pic under gas filler. I bet after a wash and wax though it wouldn't be too bad.

Also - Thanks for all the offers on parts - I am keeping track and if I go that route will contact you. I just need to know if I can get my money back out of the car before I start parting it out. I really need to hear from somebody about the engine and maybe some sheetmetal to go that route. If anyone is interested in the car as a track car let me know.

Well - I decided to try and sell the car outright. I put an ad in the classifieds. I am going to guage the response and then make a decision about parting it out after a week or two. It sounds like from the responses I got that this is what the parts would be going for if I end up going that route.
Trans - $500
Motor - $1000 est
Wheels - $400
Front fenders - $225 a piece
Front Turbo nose - $250
Rear valence - $200
Rear hatch - $150
Carpet - $250
Control arms - $50 a piece
