Resurrecting this old thread...I am located in Somerset County, near Summit, NJ. Can anyone recommend a wash for my 997.2, coupe...which will not damage the car. I dont have time to wash the car myself (sorry!).

i'm in the same boat, working between White Plains and Point Pleasant for the next few weeks.

go to a no touch and then detail it with distilled water/detailer and paper towels.

I live in Essex county and take my car to a coin-op self-wash in Wallington if I don't feel like doing it in my driveway. It's a bit of a haul but it's covered (out of the sun) and convenient.

I typically dry it with a chamois and then hit it with some meguire spray wax in between the real stuff.

My car is very near needing a re-spray but doing this keeps the swirls away.
