Post PowerHaus Bolt-on Power Package

I drive a 95 968 coupe with tiptronic. I just wish I had some more power. I been thinking more and more about going to a 964 or a 993, but I just love the way my 968 drives and I don't want to lose that. Now I'm thinking that a PowerHaus Bolt-On Power Package, or something similar, might be the answer. Does anybody have any experience of this type of modification, or heard anything?

You should call them, see what they say and tell us what they say re: their bolt-on packages. They are supposed to be good, but also expensive. I have no data to offer. A lot people around these neck of the woods use (in no particular order): Speed Force Racing, Anderson Motorsports, Huntley Racing, Lindsey Racing.

As with all mods, hp or otherwise, it's good but not required, to have a point to the modification, a raison d'etre. Street, track , autocross, etc. Simply improving the handling will do wonders. If you want pure HP, a 951 will easily satisfy that desire.

You can also ask 968.net and see what they have to say.

The following is a summary of read test numbers for the 924/944/968. There's only one TIP entry (in the 968 Cab section) but as you can see, it saps power.

The 968.net group believes in INDEPENDENT dyno confirmation of any product offered to increase hp on our cars. So far, the only successful chip tuning has been the AMD/Unichip dyno programmed add on type. No one else has shown with any combination of air filter, exhaust, and chip a hp increase. I can't say anyone who has bought the Powerhaus Bolt On has shown us dyno charts other than the ones Powerhaus provides. Trust me, we would love to see it-and the line to buy would start behind me.
