Going over bumps in my 951 I have a fair amount of squeaking coming from, I think, the rear hatch. Could this be the hydraulics? What else could it be? It's driving me crazy!

It is the darn hatch when the body twists and flexes. It can get pretty loud when things get hot - see you are in AZ so that would explain in the summer.
You can try a couple things to cut down on noise. Get a new hatch seal. Put silicone liquid on old hatch seal. Monkey around and tighten up the hatch studs.
The last option doesn't work too good especially when things get cooler and the rubber seal harder. Then the hatch keeps wanting to pop open, and will, and you are probably messing with the glass delamination Gods ... not a good idea at all. Don't ask how I know this.

There may also be separation of the glass from the upper edge of the hatch. Causes some awful squealing. Reasealing the hatch is a major operation if done right.
