My Mechanic Got an A+ Today!
I've been bragging on ProTechnik for some time now and today I got to give them a little test. Back in May of last year I had Sam and the gang at ProTechnik replace both the master and slave clutch cylinders on the 951. I don't drive the "garage queen" very often (just don't have the time), but anyway - When I got into it a few weeks back the clutch pedal dropped to the floor and didn't get back up. There wasn't any fluid on the garage floor or inside, so I figured there must be air left in the lines. As it so happened, I also had ProTechnik do the belts and rollers, so it was time to have them retensioned anyway. I called the wrecker service they always use and had the car put on a flatbed and taken over.
When I picked up the car today, the most expensive part of the bill was the towing! They rebled the clutch system for free and retensioned the belts for $40. Now this is what I expected, and this is what I wanted to hear when I picked the car up, but how often do we get exactly what we want. I'm giving the guys at ProTechnik an A+.
Also had them install the SFR Cat Back that I've had for way too long. Let me tell you, that is one sweet sounding exhaust system!
Car sounds as good as it looks now. Big test is tomorrow. Taking the wife and the 951 for a road trip to San Antonio - about 185 miles from home for a Porsche get together at OZ951's place (if the weather holds - chance for torrential downpours may necessitate using the Trooper instead). At any rate, I'll post some shots when we get back.

if there was air left in the line you never would have had a decent pedal in the first place. If re-bleeding the clutch fixed the problem, then you have air entering the system somewhere. Don't be too suprised if you lose the pedal again. I second Seth's comment and thank him for it. Mark T.
