Looks great. With a new shifter and some front spoiler work that will be one clean early car.

yep, I'm going to get an estimate for the body work soon. I've had it for a week and I've spent most of my time cleaning up the interior. It's been garage kept but I think it was a dusty garage. the shifter is next but I'm still trying to figure out how the PO got that big ball on there. I think he may have glued it on in which case I guess I have to replace the boot and shifter mechanism.

It does not have OEM fog lights. That looks odd because they are too small.

Is replacing the front valance a matter of finding one off of a same color parts car or will I need to buy a new one and have it painted?

if you can find one used for the same color do it by all means. i tried reshaping my old front valance and it just isnt worth it and it doesnt work..it just pops and bends right back..i got a used one of a 87 parts car at a junk yard(the car was ment i took almost everything) i just got lucky and im repainting my car right now anyways. but i dont recommend buying new it a lot of money, even though its probably worth it. some of us just doesnt have the founds.

but try and find one used first.

What bodywork?! I must be missing something? It looks great in the pics, far better than a DD needs to be. Are you building a trailer queen?! Save your money for mechanical parts!

Very nice car. Great interior, especially the dash, which appears to be in above-average condition.

Enjoy it.

Point taken. If you look at the picture of the front right bumper you can see a dent. It isn’t huge and because it is located on the crease it isn’t very noticeable. This car is intended to be a driver but I’m obsessive so I’d like to fix the dent some day. For reference, the car has 72k on the odo.

Mechanically it has a new timing belt, water pump, tires, oil and filter and was inspected a week before I got it. They also checked the brakes and they only have a about 2k miles on them.

Thanks for the complements on it - cheers

Regarding the shift ****...maybe the PO was a big lady?

A good clean early.

I agree on the fogs...get some originals.

Nice. That is the same color as my 83 944 race car.

And the sport's seats are great. I have them in my 83 SC and they are super comfortable. A little custom redye on the bolster and they will be perfect.
