Question KLA Strut Brace Install Question

I'm installing the strut brace today on my '84 N/A and once I started to tighten everything up, the brace seemed to push down some on the fuel rail. Is this normal or am I in danger of breaking it?

I've no idea. Since I've owned it, my car hasn't had one.

Scott from KLA told me this was normal. BTW, my motor mounts are new and I thought that had something to do with it. Are yours new?

I'd need to dig through the PO's records to know for sure, but I think so.

Just unsnap the pieces on the fuel rail cover. Engine looks better without.

I removed the fuel rail cover, managed to snap one of the vacuum lines for the fuel pressure regulator in doing so, but that's no big deal. Should I wire tie the fuel injector wiring to the fuel rail though?
