Show me your rear speakers. Really want to see 6.5" components.
Long story short. The 951 I am working on had a set of 5.25" rear speakers in it from the previous owners. below is a picture of the holes he left in the rear panels.
I happen to have a high end set of 6.5" components that obviously won't be a direct bolt in replacement to fill the holes.
Here are my choices.
-Find some 5.25" grills to just bolt over these holes and put the 6.5" somewhere else.
-Find new rear panels, and put the speakers somewhere else.
-Make a custom set up using the already cut up panels. So if anyone has done this I would like to see it to give me some ideas on how to do it.
Here is a picture of where I am starting from.

I got 5 1/4's components in back there mostly because thats the size i had. but i was able to cut out a steel plate to mount the tweeter in the area where the 4x6 would be (next to the spot for the 6.5 woofer). I didn't have to cut any holes in the trim or the car to do it. worked out pretty nice... well at least until i forgot to take a picture :P

6.5" Orion components. The woofers are built like little subs- huge magnets and all. I have been really pleased with their sound. I am runny Polk SR 5.25" in the front.
