Default Piston Ring Question

I'm putting the pistons back in the block, but it keeps on getting stuck on the expander (middle part on ring 3). All the end gaps are within tolerance. I've tried quite a few times but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Figured it out. On the band type spring compressors you need to adjust the tension on the top vs the bottom band to make it tighter on the bottom side.
