i was wondering if anyone had the capability of access to a place to where shirts can be made...i think it would be cool to have on the from, the type of car we drive like 924, 944, 968, etc...and on the back a large Porsche crest with the porsche lettering on the bottom with theres no substitute under that...
just a idea....

Have an artist provide the EPS file(s) formatted in CMYK, and I can do this easily - limit to four-colors per design (JPEG's okay, but harder to work with - and raises setup cost). Figure less than $20 per shirt if a minimum of 36 are ordered. Don't expect it quickly - I've never had good quality AND quick service from the same company.
Alternatively, if you provide the art to <a href="http://www.tshirts.com/" target="_blank">Tshirts.com</a> they will do single prints at a bit higher per-shirt price. There are others, but I've had good luck with this one.

Set up your own "store" and upload your image and there ya go!
Here is mine below. I really shouldn't have those Porsche emblems up there, but oh well.

The cutaway on the back would be sweet with a small crest or "porsche" or "944" on the front chest. I still have my old "club 924" shirt with the 924 cutaway I bought years ago from AutomobileAtlanta.

I know someoe in the clothing business and would probably be intersted in doing these shirts. But isn't there a legal hassle if using the Porsche logo? Anyone?

EPS - Encapsulated PostScript - image file used for vector graphics which will not loose appearance when sized or altered. Allows easy color fixing and line width correction for proper printing. Most common generation software for this is Adobe Illustrator.
CMYK - Cyan Magenta Yellow blacK - all colors can be described as a mixture of these bases... rather than using RGB (Red Green Blue) which is primarily for luminated display (your monitor), CMYK is used for printing to accurately reproduce for the desired effect.
The use of JPEG is normally assoicated with pictures, rather than drawn images. If using a digital camera to snap a picture of something for print, use the highest resolution - or, if available as an option, save as TIFF (Tag Interchange File Format - is a bitmap of the image, suffers no loss when sized)
Really, anyone with a picture or even an idea can get a screenprint made - you can provide images or even hand drawings in any format to a good screenprinter, and they will reproduce it. Beware of art charges!
The original idea of a Porsche crest on back and the 944 or such script on the front should not be hard to capture into a suitable file - the best format would be EPS, next would be GIF.
I am not an artist (though I play one for my kids), but there are a few rennlisters on this forum that are quite capable of a great design, and provide it pro bono. If not, I have a graphics person we deal with who could whip up a very nice design... for a fee.
You don't need me to handle this, but I can hold stock easier than most, and would accept Paypal for payments. Fees would be the actual cost per shirt, actual shipping, and $2.50 per shirt handling fee.
