Thanks for the ebay feedback info. I didn't realize i had 90 days. I left some negative feedback since he hasn't returned calls or emails at this point. It looks like i got stiffed. Sad thing is if you check out his feedback, the last 3 people who bought something from him have been ripped off.

From July 8 through August 3, he's had a total of 10 transactions with feedback of 3 positive, 3 negative, and 4 neutral. I'm not sure what the criteria is for being booted off eBay, but he must be very close.

I've never been taken by Huntley, but have spoken to many who have.....the good news is that his "take the return and don't credit your CC" is a pretty standard M.O. for Derek, and it is driven by his lack of cash. From my experience, usually he will credit you your $$ but it will take a long time, and a lot of your bitching to him. I think he uses returned merchandise and pre-paid orders as his source for working capital, so once he gets a bit more money, you'll get the credit back on your CC.

Keep in mind, I am not saying this to in anyway excuse his actions....the way he does business is TOTALLY inexcusable IMHO, but it may make you feel better that most people eventually get most or all of their money back from him. He's been doing this for at least 2 yrs, from what I have seen. Keep after him

The US/NA/European Visa network is 1 network. There are no differences. The only part of the world that uses a different network is Asia. Even there the NA/European network is present (they just have 2 networks). Crediting time should be the same. All my account credits have been available instantly.

Hey Derick, I see you post on Rennlist often. My guess is you're following this thread. You best make this right with Mike S pronto quick (as in now) before you lose more business.

It's called doing the right thing. Are you ethical or not?
