Default F/S- '86 951- SOLD

Edit- SOLD - / /

It's time.

Unfortunately, this car has just passed the 1 year mark of just sitting there and not being driven at all due to time/cash constraints.

the reason for it sitting in the first place was an intermittent boost issue that acted like a boost leak that I could never find. it was "i'll get around to it" until a year later, some water got in and there's actually mold in a few places on the interior.

Also, the odometer sender (whatever the unit on the transmission is that sends the signal to the odometer) is on the fritz as it was only recording maybe 4-6 miles out of a 9 mile trip (this made me think I was getting really bad gas mileage at one point until I started making the same route in another car and got different miles)

What would get it driving again- battery, boost leak fix, and fluids change since it's been sitting for so long.

(at least in my estimation.)

That's the full disclosure (the bad), at least as far as I can remember.

And for the good, it is only one of a handfull of Pearl White/Burgundy 951's made, it has a Turbo S transmission, a few months before it was put away, I had just done all the belts (which probably need to be replaced again since it's been sitting.....)

I have the 951Max MAF/Chips installed as well as the Lindsey big black **** boost controller.

It also has manual sunroof latches which is either a plus or a minus for you, I dont know,

uhhhhhhh, there's probably some other things i'm missing here, which I'll post on later when I remember.

Pics will also be posted once I get home

I don't know what the "right" price would be, I think this is a good range because of theTurbo S tranny and 951Max MAF/Chips and that they have an entire car wrapped around them, but if you have another number in mind, don't worry I won't rip your arms off like a giant mexican wookie.

Location is Sacramento, CA. and it has 3" exhaust from the "cat" back. the "cat" is a dynamax bullet muffler, I will include a catalytic converter for smog purposes. it also has a dumped wastegate and I will also include the "baby" cat that is supposed to be in place there.

I know, I just don't have the time/money to get it running, no matter how little or much that may be.

this reminds me that I have a spare wastegate in the trunk of the DD that isnt mine. Bill, if you're reading this, this sale doesnt include your wastegate, that's still yours. LOL.

yes, re-spray IIRC, but it did come from the factory as a pearl white.

also forgot to mention- the hood has an idiot on it, I closed the hood while the PS pump was a notch above where it was supposed to be and it and the hood had an argument....

I'll get some pics up tonight.

Very nice looking car! Looks like a really great deal for someone who knows how to fix the issues. I'd even come look at it myself if I wasn't on the opposite side of the country!
