I thought this was a Chandler, Ariz. resident who is the largest trade contractor in Arizona and Nevada? That's who bought Mike's funny car at B-J Scottsdale '08...

Either way, that is one awesome collection! And great that it's shared... Thanks to the OP for sharing the pics with us!

I'd take the F40.

I can't see how John Lingenfelter could afford all of those from just that company.

If you or anyone works out how to afford all that, let me know.

By my calculations it would have to be 50% luck, 50% *****, and 50% sheer ingenuity

In the meantime anyone close enough - I suggest you form an orderly queue just to see them

I know I would.

John Lingenfelter passed away a few years ago, this is not his collection. Ken Lingenfelter made his money when he sold Metropolitan Title.

Recent thread on OT about the collection with some photos from a PCA gathering:

You're thinking of Pratt who also bought the super snake, futureliner, Bonneville....

He's got a really nice collection as well. Must be nice.

Yeah, I was thinking Ron Pratt. He's the one who bought the funny car at B-J for charity. He must have re-sold it. He's been known to buy a charity car at the auctions and donate it back afterward to the cause so that they can auction it again. Pretty generous to the charities!
Ken's collection is incredible too! One more exotic than the other... Too bad he doesn't have "Bubbles" or the "Boss" 951... Seems a little incomplete without one ;-)
