lol mich as funny as that is, my buddy mitch got out of a ticket in his 3 cyl metro with that excuse. he got clocked doing 82 in a 65 (how he got going that fast, i will never know) and got pulled over.. he was around other vehicles when he got clocked, so he told the officer "this is a 3 cylinder metro with over 130k on it, i couldn't get it up to 82 if i tried, are you sure you didn't get someone else's speed?" the cop thoguht about it, and let him go.. nice cop lol.

and i'd like to apologize for defending this guy. at first i thought he deserved a chance to tell his story.. but i now realize it's BS and that highway story most definitely is too.

amaf.. quit watching 'the fast and the furious'

This is funny as hell... <img src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt="[hiha]" />

You guys are killing me! <img src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt="[hiha]" />

Calm down guys.. trust me, if you were in the same situation you would have done the same exact thing. I may sound like a total idiot, but c'mon I'm a teenager, what would you expect?

No one was harmed, that is the most important thing.

I must seem like a lunatic. <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />

Oh ya, don't act as if you guys know me, because you don't. So stop trying to act like idiots yourselves. <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[nono]" />

i'm a teenager and i know not to do something as ignorant as come to a complete stop in the middle of the freeway for anything short of total engine failure. and to not play bumper cars at speeds of.. well.. at any speed. if you're going to own a porsche, you need to show respect for it.

Thumbs up

UDpride,

Amen, brother!!! I can tell we live in the same town. These are the problems that I experience here everyday. Maybe it's just the greater Dayton area? I hope it's not the same everywhere, otherwise I have no hope for moving to a "better place".....

I hope the other rennlisters do not clump us teenagers with that of AMAF, because I can assure you, my friends and I certainly do not act THAT stupid. Sure, teenagers do some idiotic things sometimes, but that kind of stuff will get you shot. I mean, I'd love to shoot people sometimes because they're so stupid. Its great to help overpopulation along with improving the gene pool and encouraging faster evolution of the human race. Yah, its inhumane and stuff, but seriously, some people like AMAF should really be put down. Saying stupid things will get you killed.

Another thing: its bad enough that he messes with peoples lives, but lets also think about the car. No fool in his right mind would deliberately put his car on the line in that situation, unless of course his parents bought it for him and he has no appreciation for the car or his parents. And if AMAF did buy his car, you are one dumbass to risk throwing all your money away like that. But hey, continue with your little "escapades," maybe we can save a bullet.

Let's try this once more, dork-boy... no, _we_ wouldn't "have done the same thing." Even the youngest here are 'way too smart & responsible to do something as stupid as that.

"No one was harmed"... yeah, _this_ time.. do you seriously expect that it can't ever happen when you're acting like a total moron on public highways? And a smiley face f^%kin' well isn't going to 'unharm' the people you may hurt or kill.
Life isn't a movie or a video game; there's no reset button. Once you screw up, people who are dead aren't coming back.

Public highways are not a playground for 18 year old kids who have less sense of responsibility than a five year old.

Now, ask yourself one question.. has _anybody_ who responded said that you did the right thing? Odd, ain't it?

Amaf,

A MAF?

Whatever, let me clue you in.

Once upon a time, I was young, dumb, and full of ***. I was something of a cocksure little bastard, and had a great big chip on my shoulder.

One day, while out driving my 924, a purple Neon flew past me nearly hitting my car. I was incensed. I rocketed up towards 120MPH, determined to catch this little bastard and let him have a piece of my mind, and maybe a knuckle sandwich.

I get next to him, and its an older guy. He looks pissed, and swerves at my car again. I am really mad now, and I start yelling at him to pull over. We exchange fingers, and more curses.

He finally pulls over in the median of the freeway, and I pull over to the side.

As I am getting out of my car, I notice he is fishing in his glovebox. I decide, **** it, I dont care.

I run across the street, thinking I will get there before he can get his gun ready. (Can you tell I was under 25?)

As I dash across, he leaps out of his car with a goddamn cannon. A chrome Desert Eagle .40. The guy is shaking like a leaf, and I am screaming at him to put it down before I take it away from him and make him suck it. I can tell he is terrified, and at that moment a light goes on...

..."this guy is gonna kill me because he cant think of any way out".

I have faced guns before, both privately and professionaly. But I have never KNOWN that I was in serious danger.

He is still shaking really hard, trembling all over. I start backing up, and the gun goes off.

BLAM! I can hear the whistle of the round going past my shoulder. The guy is so astonished that he drops the gun, he never meant to fire.

We stare at each other for a minute, silently. Cars stream past us on the highway, but we are oblivious. I cant even remember any sound, just the gleaming gun on the ground and my heart racing.

I dont get road rage anymore, and I drive with extra politeness towards everyone. When people cut me off, or do stupid ****, I let them go by with a smile and a blessing.

Amaf, you WILL meet the wrong person someday. I hope you are as lucky as I was, and the bullet misses the mark.

tifosiman-

Dayton drivers are just morons. No doubt about it. I could write a short novel on the reckless, no common horse-sensical, deductive reasonless driving habits of the Big D driving contingent. Sometimes I just start laughing in my car. I dont even honk my horn anymore. When somebody does something stupid I just hold my hands up in the air and give the "whatever you wanna do big chief" stare, and hope they see me in their rear-view.

Funny how water944 is glad he's alive and AMAF is still cocksure.

Water you were lucky, AMAF you probably wont be because you are too stooooopid.

Tell us when you wreck the car, that is if you're still alive. We could use parts cheap.
