Post no temp reading 78 924

Just purchased a 78 924 . after the first day I noticed temperature gauge not working. Is this a ez fix?

First thing to check is your fuses. They can really get corroded. If those are OK, check the connection at the temperature sender. It is at the back of the head, under the distributor. It's about .5" in diameter and has a mushroomed shaped contact on top. The connector just slides on and often will just slide off when you don't want it to. If that connection is OK, check the connection at the gauge. Happy hunting.
