It looks like you're trying to link to a picture on your computer. You have to upload the picture to rennlist or somewhere like AOLs FTP site. Basically you can only link to pictures that are already on the internet.

you can't post pictures from your computers hard drive, they have to be online.
click here:

and upload your pic. when done, it will give you the link to your pic, which will be in this directory:
<a href="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/" target="_blank">http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/</a>
like this:

ok, then it should have given you the file location like this:
http:/ /boards.rennlist.com/upload/filename.gif
just put the link it gives you inside the [IMG][/IMG] tags like this:
[IMG] <a href="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/928-87s4.gif" target="_blank">http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/928-87s4.gif</a> [/IMG]
but without the spaces i added...
