Post 968 belts DIY?

As the subject states, is it a do it yourself job or should I just pay the shop rates? If it's not to complicated to do I'd actually like to do it regardless of the cost just for the fun of it. Since they have the auto tensioner built in I'm assuming I wont be to overwhelmed... but timing is not something I feel comfortable assuming anything about.

Have done it once to 968.Nothing fancy there.Quite similar than various 944 models.944 S is the only model into which i haven't changed belts...Check out the condition of the chain tensioner at the same time.I always use p9201 when chnage belts.

Bob, try looking for the tensioning tool here:

<a href="http://www.928gt.com" target="_blank">www.928gt.com</a>

$400 total for the tool & calibration bar.

(I've never done business with them, so just a referral, not a recomendation.)

Do you feel 20% better now?
