Smile My 944 came home tonite!

Finally home from my buddie's house from the "Ill Fated Paintjob". It has been there for about a year now while I was working on the engine and drivetrane. The engine is ready to drop in as for the front suspension and trans too along with my black interior. I plan on getting some little things done through this week and on saturday dropping the motor in. Wish me luck, and if any local guys want to drop by to hang out while I'm playin with it, you are more than welcome. BTW, the color is satin black, not gloss, not flat, just evil!

Sounds sweet! Good luck. We've got to plan another GTG once you're done. Plus, I still have to see Perry's in person.

Andy, I can't wait to see that stealth 944. That thing is gonna be a monster.
Thanks again for the help at the Fest.

Dale, where you been? We missed you at the Fest.
There was a white 944 with the same wheels as yours there. It belongs to Greg Roa in Cincy. When he pulled in I thought it was you!

We're gonna try to do another GTG in Middletown in August or early September.

Pete, sorry about the fest. I really wish I could have gone. I've got too much going on at home. Our house is on the market, we're trying to sell it to move to Cincinnati. Will you be at Kil-Kare July 20th? It's Redline 2. Don't use that old front wheel problem excuse!

ok, are you guy's going to run your car's there? at kil-kare? My friend took his focus and ran a 16.7@82 but I would never put that abuse on my car's tranny. (then again the tranny's always blow on me for no reason.) maybe if I took it to the track I would understand why it blew.

Fishey - Ohio Valley Region PCA has an auto-x series called Redline. The events are held at a school in Cincy and at Kil-Kare. I agree about the drag strip, I wouldn't do that to my car, either. I thought you did drag your S2 - didn't you post the time in your sig a while back? Why don't you do the auto-x too? It's only $25. This will be my 3rd event and I'm hooked already!

Dale, I don't think I can make it. If all goes as planned I may be out of town picking up a 944S2. There's a lot of "if's" involved but hopefully I can pull it off.

I'm off sat, I work 9-5 sun, I'll be in the garagewhen I'm not at work. If cash permits, I should have it done in 1-2 mos. I can't find any reasons why it won't be, I have no big parts to get. The question is, after the car is done and I'm fully broke, what do I do? Ahhh, yes, the 8HP.
