My new 951!!!!
Well, as some of you know, I had an engine fire in my '84 back in December and have since been looking for a replacement. I finally found an '86 951 with 98K miles in excellent condition, Zermatt Silver on linen interior. The seats are all cloth Porsche script as well as the door panels. (never seen that before) Paint is in great shape except the few typical door dings but no stone chips in the nose. I picked it up Thursday night and drove to the Fest Saturday morning, I couldn't ask for a better weekend. Here are a couple pics from 944Fest.

I will attest folks, Jerad has a very nice car. With some minor tuning you'll be running me over Jerad:-0
Again, it was fun caravaning with you and Dan to the 944Fest. Dan e-mail'd me and said we should all hook up again soon. I'll keep you posted!
Later Bud.

The black one is Dan's 951.. Moda wheels. that is one sharp ride..
Good Luck Jared- may miles await you!! I also have never seen the interior you have.
Luckily it wasnt as wild as the pink plaid in the Silberosa garge queen. It would take me a while to get used to that!

Take care of that 951 Jerad. It is a very nice example. I kind of agree with Scott that you might want to resist mods since that car is in such good stock condition.
Since you're already a member of the flaming 944 club, you probably should invest in stainless fuel lines and a fire extinguisher.
Good luck with the car, it's a keeper.
We're gonna set up a meet in Middletown again soon and it would be great if you can make it.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys
Tommy, the black car is Dan87951's, and the wheels are 18" Moda's. They look even better in person than in the picture.
Pete, the things you mentioned are already planned. I did carry a fire extinguisher with me to the Fest just in case. Let me know when you guys plan on meeting in Middletown again, and I will try to make it.
