Default SEM Color Coat to the rescue

I read the recent posts by Cole and Eastep using duplicolor to renew their interiors. I have Linen and Black interior that has long ago seen better days. I bought almost new seats from Smlporsche late last year so the rest of the interior looked worse than ever. I bought SEM Color Coat it says it renews flexible & rigid plastic, carpet, & vinyl. This brand sounds like duplicolor but they have more color choices. I found Phantom White was as close to Linen as I could get. It took some before and after pictures today as I was painting. The first three pictures have one side painted and the other not yet done. I still have the door cards to do tomorrow.

Great stuff...I've used SEM products on a couple of restorations. Make sure you follow the prep steps prior to spraying the final color. It makes a big difference in the longevity of the color coat.

Nice result! It may not be a precise match for the linen, but from what I've seen, linen seems to devolve into so many different shades anyway, and that's damn close.

So, do you think this would work on top of brown - i.e the early 944 interior? I have later linen seats in my car, re-upholsterd the doorcards and replaced the carpet with a beige colour - so now it's early brown / linen.

I could go to a full linen coloured interior by painting the brown pieces if this would work...

I covered the brown burn areas on my Linen and it covered them. Nothing is showing through up close and in person. So I would say yes.
