Question 924 for $800

Need help making a descicion. my friends dad has a 82. 924turbo for sale at his body shop for $800. The car is suposed to run. I couldnt try it because there was no battery and all 4 tires are flat. the engine looks descent. the car needs paint badly, hood has a custom made cowl induction scoop looks cool. the interior is not in the greatest shape, faded and dirty. i have no money to buy it because i just bought my 944. but if it did run would this be a good buy?

Sounds like a good parts car. Also... you get what you pay for, remember that old saying.

If you don't have enough money to buy it, where do you plan on getting the money to make it driveable? I would stick with your new 944 and spend the money on that.
